Job Description
**Waste Connections is seeking a dedicated and skilled** **Mechanic** **to join our growing maintenance team. We're looking for individuals who prioritize safety, take pride in their work, and understand how critical their role is to supporting our drivers and the service we provide to the community.**
**Role:** Mechanic
**Location:** Waste Connections-Brooklyn
**Schedule:** Monday through Friday, with alternating Saturdays as needed
**Hours:** 7A-3:30P (OT based on workload)
**Rate:** $28–$32/hr, depending on experience
**Employment Type:** Full-time
**Key Responsibilities**
**Perform inspections, repairs, and diagnostics on diesel vehicles, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems**
**Interpret vehicle computer system failure codes and make necessary adjustments to engine and vehicle control modules**
**Review and complete repairs noted on Driver Vehicle Inspection...
