Job Description
Power-Flo Technologies Auburn is now hiring a Mechanic for our Pump and Motor Repair Shop.
At the direction of the Shop Manager, Mechanics are responsible for the proper disassembly and evaluation of various electric motor styles including troubleshooting. They are also responsible for the assembly, quality control and testing processes involved in electric motor repair. Field Service positions are also available to properly qualified individuals.
Mechanic Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
+ Disassemble mechanical AC & DC motors, gear units and pumps.
+ Assemble mechanical AC & DC motors, gear units and pumps.
+ Diagnose problems and failures of incoming units to ensure the customer’s complaint is resolved.
+ Interpret and apply dimensional measurements.
+ Measure and record electrical data, mechanical fits and clearances.
