Job Title: McElroy Mechanic
Location: Northeast Houston, Texas
Type: Contract, start immediately
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; OT about 25 per month
Travel: Less than 5% (mostly day trips; occasional overnight if required)
Details:
An established environmental containment and piping solutions provider is seeking a McElroy Mechanic to join their Houston team. This role is available due to recent staffing changes and will play a key part in ensuring reliability and readiness of rental equipment while supporting overall shop operations.
Focus Includes:
+ Performing cradle-to-grave repairs and preventative maintenance on McElroy fusion equipment, shop machinery, and company fleet vehicles
+ Diagnosing and repairing simple to complex mechanical issues
+ Logging maintenance and repairs; maintaining service rotation records
+ Ensuring proper equipment check-in/check-out procedures for all rentals
