Mechanical Assembler

VMAC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our Assembly team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, follows safety standards, and works efficiently both independently and as part of a team to meet VMAC's production goals.
 
As Mechanical Assembler you will:
Follow current drawings when assembling products.
Rebuild and repair products where required.
Identify and correct bottlenecks.
Improve efficiency and quality assembly processes.
Follow Production Schedule and prioritize daily work accordingly, communicating any bottlenecks or flow problems to Production Supervisor.
Test and identify all assembled products where required.
Liaise with the Parts Department to ensure adequate supply of parts.
Report on spoilage, stock damage, shrinkage, and inventory inaccuracies.
