Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £12.82 – £14.43 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent | Monday – Thursday, 06:30 – 16:00
MoveaATech is recruiting for a reputable manufacturing client in Portsmouth who is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join their production team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with mechanical skills and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Read and work from engineering drawings and follow work instructions accurately
* Assemble components using hand tools and thread cutting techniques
* Use STTE (Specialised Tooling and Test Equipment) to complete assembly tasks
* Maintain attention to detail and quality standards at all times
* Work collaboratively in a team or independently as required
* Stand for long periods during shifts
