Job Description

We are looking to strengthen our Engineering team with a Mechanical CAD Technician based in our Hattersley (Manchester) office with hybrid working available, work will primarily be for our United Utilities AMP8 Framework on projects in the North West region. 


You will report directly to the Mechanical Regional Discipline Lead (RDL) and you will be responsible for the coordination, delivery and quality of modelling and drawing work undertaken for the Mechanical design team.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • 3D Modelling to a level of detail suitable for construction, 
  • 2D Drawing production to a level of detail suitable for construction including both layouts and general arrangements,
  • Quality control of models and drawings and updating drawing registers such as MIDP, 
  • Ensure designs are completed in accordance with CDM Regulations,
