Overview

Job Summary - The Underground Maintenance Professional - Experienced provides underground maintenance support to mining operations through measurement, training and standards development.

Responsibilities

• Visibly support and champion Peabody’s Missions and Values
• Act in accordance with and adhere to Safety as a Way of Life Management System
• Identify underground maintenance requirements and improvements
• Ensure adequate resources are available for meeting scheduled and repair/breakdown maintenance
• Act as subject matter expert for electrical shutdowns to optimize costs and availability
• Liaise with operations departments to ensure optimal equipment and plant availability
• Work with site/multi-site support engineers to assist in resolution of technical maintenance issues
