Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

• To design a cooling system to control and regulate the temperature of a device or system by managing the heat
• To perform thermal analysis by using Ansys simulation tool
• Utilize 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed mechanical models and technical drawings
• Ensure designs meet functionality, durability, and manufacturability requirements
• Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) & DFA (Design for Assembly) principles to optimize designs
• Work with the manufacturing team to develop and test prototypes
• Collaborate with electrical, software and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems
• Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure design feasibility and cost optimization
• Assist customer support group with on field design related to customer requests and issues
