Job Opening: Mechanical Design Draftsman
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Draftsman to join our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed mechanical drawings using Auto CAD.
- Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly layouts.
- Prepare, read, and modify Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), with clear understanding of process flow, piping, valves, instruments, and safety components.
- Ensure consistency and coordination between P&IDs and GA/layout drawings during design development and revisions.
- Support reverse engineering activities by converting existing components and systems into precise technical drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable mechanical standards, tolerances, and good engineering practices.
- Coordinate with design and production teams to incorporate design changes and improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong proficiency in mechanical drafting using Auto CAD.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical standards, limits & fits, and tolerancing.
• Experience in preparing GA and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Familiarity with reverse engineering techniques and documentation.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in a Burner / Furnace manufacturing company will be preferred.

• Ability to interpret engineering concepts and convert them into clear drawings.
• Good coordination skills with engineering and shop-floor teams.
