Job Opening: Mechanical Design Draftsman
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Draftsman to join our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD .
Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly layouts .
Prepare, read, and modify Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) , with clear understanding of process flow, piping, valves, instruments, and safety components.
Ensure consistency and coordination between P&IDs and GA/layout drawings during design development and revisions.
Support reverse engineering activities by converting existing components and systems into precise technical drawings.
Ensure all drawings comply with applicable mechanical standards, tolerances, and good engineering practices .
Coordinate with design and production teams to incorporate design changes and improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong proficiency in mechanical drafting using AutoCAD.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical standards, limits & fits, and tolerancing.
• Experience in preparing GA and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Familiarity with reverse engineering techniques and documentation.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in a Burner / Furnace manufacturing company will be preferred.
