Mechanical Design Engineer

Position Requirements:

• Engineering degree required
• 4+ years of professional experience with OEM design activities using mechanical design software packages and 3D modeling software, meeting schedules, and providing technical support
• Understanding understanding of seismic, wind and vibration calculations to support equipment designs (IBC)
• Understanding of airflow, thermodynamics, and sound level dynamics (including measurement and instrumentation)
• Specific knowledge of AutoCAD, ERP system functionality, and Microsoft Applications
• Demonstrated problem solving expertise
• Creative and flexible personality to work through changing responsibilities and customer requirements
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills required to interface with customers and vendors
