Mechanical Design Engineer

Tech Connect Group are recruiting for 2 Mechanical Design Engineers to join an innovative engineering team delivering Special Purpose Machine automation projects .

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of mechanical design elements, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to complex engineering solutions from concept through to manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities on automation projects, ensuring integration with process, layout, simulation, and controls teams.
• Manage scope, timing, and resources for allocated tasks, reporting progress to senior engineers.
• Produce and review Functional Design Specifications, DFMEA, PFMEA, ergonomic studies, and FEA.
• Ensure compliance with customer and internal design standards, CAD management, and data storage protocols.
