ROLE – Mechanical Design Engineer

SALARY - £35,000-£42,000, dependent on experience

TYPE – Permanent

LOCATION – Devon

My client designs and manufactures bespoke machinery. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in the Devon area on a permanent basis.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar Mechanical Design Engineering position
• Experienced with machinery design, hydraulics, sheet metal and precision components
• Strong 3D CAD skills – ideally Inventor or SolidWorks
• Strong practical skills – hand calculations, verification, validation, FEA, testing, prototyping
• Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ / ONC qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering or s...
