Job Description
Mail:- [HIDDEN TEXT]
Mechanical Designer creates detailed 2D/3D mechanical designs, models, and technical drawings for products/systems using CAD software (like SolidWorks, AutoCAD) from engineer concepts, ensuring manufacturability, performance, and adherence to standards, involving prototyping, testing, collaboration, and technical documentation for production. They bridge concepts and production, focusing on feasibility, materials, and precise specifications.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Modeling: Develop 2D/3D CAD models, detailed drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for mechanical components and assemblies. Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical engineers, manufacturing teams, and stakeholders to translate requirements into feasible designs. Prototyping & Testing: Create and test prototypes, analyze results, and iterate designs to meet performance, quality, and safety standards. Documentation: Generate Bill of Materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and technical documentation for production. Optimization: Innovate solutions, ensuring designs are efficient, cost-effective, and suitable for mass production. Technical Support: Provide ongoing support during manufacturing, assembly, and installation. Essential Skills & QualificationsProficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360).Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Attention to detail, precision, and strong organizational skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Typical Tools UsedCAD Software: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, NX, Fusion 360.General Software: Microsoft Office, PLM systems.Analysis: Stress analysis, thermal analysis tools.
