🔧 Job Description

Mechknow Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Gearbox & Gear Design Engineer with strong expertise in gear design, analysis, and validation for heavy-duty industrial and mobile equipment applications.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
  • Design & develop spur, helical, bevel, and planetary gearboxes
  • Perform gear calculations, sizing, and optimization
  • Use gear design software for strength, life, and efficiency calculations
  • Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, heat treatment, and quality teams
  • Support prototype development, testing, and failure analysis
  • Ensure compliance with ISO / AGMA / DIN standards
💻 Required Software Skills
  • KISSsoft (Mandatory – hands-on experience required)
  • GearTrax / MASTA / Romax (any exposure is an advantage)
  • SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor
🧠 Technical Skills
  • Gear tooth geometry & profile correction
  • Load distribution, contact stress & bending stress analysis
  • Bearing selection, shaft design & housing design
  • Knowledge of gear materials, heat treatment & surface finishing
  • Understanding of NVH and efficiency optimization
🎓 Qualification
  • B.E / B.Tech / M.E in Mechanical Engineering
  • Specialization in Machine Design / Power Transmission preferred
