Mechanical Design Engineer- Heavy Industrial

Selectek is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer interested in a career in the heavy industrial field. This role will focus on creating, storing, and managing documentation related to proprietary equipment essential to the heavy industrial technologies business unit. The engineer will report directly to the Manager of the Equipment Design Group and should have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
Job Responsibilities:

Create detailed fabrication drawings and parts lists for proprietary equipment.

Develop general arrangement drawings for heavy industrial systems.

Utilize 3D CAD software (Inventor) to design and expand product lines.

Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Purchase Requisitions (PRs).

Conduct technical reviews of vendor-designed components for compatibility.
