Job Opening: Mechanical Design Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Draftsman to join our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly layouts.
• Prepare, read, and modify Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), with clear understanding of process flow, piping, valves, instruments, and safety components.
• Ensure consistency and coordination between P&IDs and GA/layout drawings during design development and revisions.
• Support reverse engineering activities by converting existing components and systems into precise technical drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable mechanical standards, tolerances, and good engineering practices.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to incorporate design changes and improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in mechanical drafting using AutoCAD.

- Sound knowledge of mechanical standards, limits & fits, and tolerancing.

- Experience in preparing GA and detailed manufacturing drawings.

- Familiarity with reverse engineering techniques and documentation.

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.

- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in a Burner / Furnace manufacturing company will be preferred.
