Job Description
Design Engineer creates, develops, and improves products and systems, from concept to production, by converting client needs into functional designs using CAD software, prototyping, testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet industry standards, budgets, and timelines. Key tasks include research, drafting detailed plans, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, documenting, and ensuring designs are cost-effective and user-friendly, requiring strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development: Research new products, create blueprints, models, and technical drawings using CAD/CAE software (like Revit, AutoCAD).
Prototyping & Testing: Build and test prototypes, conducting stress, load, and usability tests, then modify designs based on results.
Collaboration: Work with R&D, production, clients, and management to define requirements and integrate feedback.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records, create technical documentation, and prepare progress reports.
Cost & Efficiency: Evaluate production costs, timelines, materials, and identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Compliance: Ensure all designs meet industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD/CAE software, understanding of manufacturing processes, strong math and analytical skills.
Soft Skills: Creativity, problem-solving, communication (written/oral), teamwork, attention to detail, and time management.

Design and analyze wind turbine components (blades, structures).
Conduct simulations (wind tunnel, fatigue) and material performance monitoring.
