The Opportunity Senior Engineer In this role you will be working in the design engineering team on Solenoid valve and Sensor product lines supporting NPI production resolving materials obsolesce issues for commercial and Aerospace and Military applications The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of the aerospace industry and be competent in mechanical design materials knowledge with ideally some experience in pressure retaining products such as valves solenoids and sensors Some basic knowledge of electronics and PCB layouts is beneficial but not essential Required skills to include Materials knowledge mechanical design analytical skills FEA Hand calculations report writing reliability analysis FMEA and FMECA 3D modelling and drafting using Solidworks excellent verbal written communication skills Responsibilities Support engineering projects by generating FEA reports static and dynamic and making recommendations to improve structural integrity ...
