Mechanical Design Engineer - Level 4

**Description:**
You will be the Mechanical Design Engineer for the Mechanism Design Team which is responsible for creating high‑performance mechanical systems for LM ADP and F‑35 aircraft.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for delivering robust mechanism designs, from concept through production, while partnering with program, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
**Your responsibilities will include:**
+ Develop kinematic models and detailed mechanism layouts.
+ Design machined and composite parts, and generate release drawings with 3‑D annotation.
+ Create sweep models and rigging procedures for mechanisms.
+ Provide technical engineering support for manufacturing, installation, and testing at Lockheed Martin and supplier facilities.
+ Conduct trade studies and evaluate alternatives to optimize form, fit, and function of mechanical systems.
