ASSA ABLOY is currently seeking an on-site Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team, located at our Memphis, TN facility.
Job Tasks:
Work closely with Product Management, Quality, and Manufacturing to generate, initiate and complete new products, product improvements, and cost reduction designs based on company goals, customer needs, industry/regulatory standards, quality assurance, and manufacturability.Manage product development timelines by creating and monitoring project timelines, maintaining NPD gateway documentation, and leading progress report-outs for upper management.Design and optimize mechanical door hardware components for Opening Systems.
