Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer to lead and execute mechanical design activities for new and existing products. The candidate will be responsible for concept development, detailed design, validation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, manufacturable designs.

  • Lead mechanical design from concept to production for components and assemblies
  • Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools
  • Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and design optimization
  • Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, safety norms, and customer requirements
  • Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams for design feasibility
  • Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities
  • Identify design risks and propose corrective actions
  • Review and approve drawings created by junior designers
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 4–8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks / Creo / CATIA / AutoCAD)
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, plastic , cooling solutions, casting, injection molding)
  • Experience with DFMEA, DFM, and DFA practices
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements
