**Description**
SAIC is seeking a **Mechanical Design Engineer/Draftsman** experienced in 2D layouts and 3D models of machinery, tools, and components using CAD software based on engineer specifications. The individual should be able to take drawings and models from different sources and convert them to a production ready format.
The candidate should have experience in design of piece part, subassembly, final assembly, integration, 2D drawings and 3D models, and creation and maintenance of multi-level, indentured BOM, Configuration Management principles, MRP/ERP, and other systems used for managing technical documentation.

Required Experience and Education:
+ B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent and five (5) years or more experience. An A.A. or A.S. degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with eight (8) years or more applicable experience will be considered.
