Mechanical Design Engineer duties and responsibilities Design and develop mechanical systems Collaborate with Production Supervisor to determine project requirements Prepare engineering calculations, drawings and specifications Perform design and production trials Participate in design reviews of mechanical systems and prototypes Coordinate and review engineering schedules with project team members Review and approve documentation for quality and safety Strong communication skills Strong presentation skills Strong problem-solving skill Must have knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks.
