Mechanical Design Engineer - Sheet metal

We‘re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer Sheet Metal (1-3 yrs experience)  to join our LAIA Innovation Pvt. Ltd.  team in Bangalore.

This role is for builders, not just CAD modelers  you should have seen your designs being laser-cut, bent, welded and assembled in the real world.

If you‘ve designed sheet-metal enclosures, cabinets, panels or kiosks that were actually fabricated, this role is for you.

Role & responsibilities

• Design sheet-metal enclosures  for our automated delivery units (doors, inner frames, brackets, mounting plates, panels).
• Use SolidWorks / Solid Works  sheet-metal tools to create 3D models, flat patterns, bend allowances, reliefs and corner treatments.
• Prepare complete 2D production drawings  with dimensions, tolerances, welding / fastening details and BOMs.
