We are a leading manufacturer of CNC Plasma Cutting Machines, CNC Laser Cutting Systems, Welding Automation Systems (TIG/MIG/Laser), and other custom fabrication solutions.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in machine design and proficiency in **SolidWorks** to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for precision engineering and hands-on experience in designing machines for metal cutting and welding automation applications.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design and develop 3D models and 2D drawings of machines and components using SolidWorks.

- Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for CNC cutting systems, welding automation setups, and general fabrication projects.

- Collaborate with the production and R&D teams to ensure feasibility, manufacturability, and performance of the designs.

- Modify and improve existing designs for better performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.

- Participate in product testing, validation, and documentation.

- Maintain a library of design files, BOMs, and revision control.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

• Masters/ Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

- Minimum **3 years of hands-on experience** in machine design using **SolidWorks**.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical components, sheet metal design, fabrication practices, and GD&T.

- Experience in designing automation systems involving actuators, guideways, sensors, and welding equipment is a big plus.

- Understanding of CNC machines, motion control systems, and laser/plasma cutting technologies is desirable.

- Strong communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

**Nice to Have:**

- Experience in ERP integration for BOM and project tracking.

- Exposure to electrical enclosure design or integration with control panels.
