- Principal _
- Accountabilities:_
- Provide transient structural 3D CAD/FEA modeling solutions for gas turbine hardware/ systems (compressor, turbine, combustion such as compressor blades, turbine blades, turbine nozzles, disks) and in support of digital twins
- Follow design guidelines/ practices to design/ develop components/ systems
- Work with cross functional team including turbine aero performance, heat transfer, materials, design layout, and manufacturing to develop digital twin components
- Communication and information sharing with colleagues, product owners, and technical leads
- Archive and document all completed work using standard procedures
- Minimum Qualifications:_
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- 5+ years of engineering design/analysis experience
- 1+ year of FEA experience or ANSYS basics training course
- Good written and verbal communication skills
