Job Description
* This company seeks a driven, motivated and talented junior mechanical design engineer to join their project team working on the design and development of world class machines for the agricultural and construction markets
* The role will involve producing mechanical designs for a variety of machine parts and systems which means you could get exposure to all aspects of the machine (e.g. hydraulic systems, suspension, chassis and structural design, engine integration and packaging of powertrain systems, cooling, hoses, routings etc.)
* Mechanical design engineers with a versatile array of mechanical engineering knowledge and a good practical approach to design and development would be required
Skills / Knowledge Required: Mechanical Design Engineer:
* A good degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (e.g. mechanical / agricultural / construction equipment engineering) Industry experience coupled with a BTEC/Diploma, NVQ, HNC/HND, apprenticeships level ...
