Mechanical Draughtsman

ob Purpose:

To prepare the technical drawings promptly as per customer requirements with a concept of practical production easiness.

To reduce production difficulties & timely/precise assistance to production team

Job Responsibilities / Accountability (major end results the job is expected to achieve):

Drawing

 To take the print outs of customer drawings received from customers & put Email date stamp on it and Hand it over to design dept for designing.

 To save the customer drawing files in server and keep the Proper track of the same

 To prepare fabrication drawings from the drawings or sketch received from the customers.

 To get the total design data and required information from design dept.

 To make follow-up for drawing approval.

 To make necessary changes in drawing as per customer comments and resubmit revised drawing for approval.

 To send the fabrication drawings to the customer for approval

 To issue the approved fabrication drawing in workshop

 Giving Templates, Semi-ellipsoidal Dish points

Production Assistance

 To coordinate with production engineers and solve the queries and doubts for easy flow of manufacturing

 To make the purchase requisition for bought out items required for the job.

 To make sketches for the bought out items and submit it to purchase department along with requisition

 To prepare As BUILT drawings as per report received From the inspection engineers

 Update Documents such as Order Status,on time drawing, drawing approval status & Bar charts.

 Making drawing list for big jobs.

Reporting

 Daily updated Drawing status report

 Requisition status report

 ISO Documentation of drawing depts.

Job Specification: Qualifications (Basic, Professional & any other desired qualification):

- Diploma in AutoCAD

- ITI Work Experience (No. of years, Industry & Areas in which person would had worked):

- Preferred 5 years of experience in relevant area of work

- Drafting skills

- Basic communication knowledge

- Internal coordination and timely making drawings
