Mechanical Engineer 2 - Air Systems Shop Support



Duration: 2 years

Location: Onsite - Lafayette, IN 





Typical task breakdown:

  • Shop floor investigation of the issue
  • Root cause investigation
  • Develop potential solutions
  • Review with Design Engineer
  • Work with the shop to document and implement solutions
  • Potential follow up with suppliers / design engineers or modification of prints



Work environment:

  • Team is in the Engineering area of the office 
  • Typical desks are in groups of 4 related engineers
  • Open work environment with frequent collaboration with peers
  • Open communication is expected
