Job Summary:
This position is for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join either our Sustaining or New Product Development team, focusing on the mechanical design of components and assemblies for surface or downhole products. The role involves developing manufacturable drawings using 3D CAD tools (preferably Creo/SolidWorks) and managing the product lifecycle using PLM platforms like Windchill, alongside conducting detailed engineering calculations and defining testing procedures. Candidates will also engage in continuous improvement processes, provide technical guidance, and contribute to design standards and documentation.

Job Summary:
This position is for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join either our Sustaining or New Product Development team, focusing on the mechanical design of components and assemblies for surface or downhole products. Candidates will also engage in continuous improvement processes, provide technical guidance, and contribute to design standards and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review mechanical designs and manufacturable drawings using 3D CAD software, adhering to standard modeling and detailing practices.
- Perform detailed engineering calculations, evaluations, and make design recommendations. Define testing procedures, document results, and ensure designs meet compliance standards.
- Participate in and contribute to design reviews, ensuring designs align with company standards and client requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to designers, junior engineers, and project teams; effectively communicate technical and management information through presentations.
- Author and contribute to technical specifications, design standards, best practices, and participate in the expansion of the informal organizational network.
Must-have Skills:
- Proficiency in 3D CAD and PLM/PDM software, with preference for Creo and Windchill experience.
- Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering disciplines, including materials strength, manufacturing techniques, and engineering drawing.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Industry Experience Required:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles highly regarded.
Additional Requirements:
- A Recognized Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering work experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
