Job Description
Supervise installation and commissioning of fire protection systems (AFSS, FDAS suppression systems, hydrants, etc.)
Review and approve shop drawings, technical specifications and material submittals
Liaise with contractors, consultants and project managers to align fire protection scope with overall construction timelines
Preparation of all documents needed for the project (Gantt chart, Permits, S-Curve, Work Methodology and other documents needed in the project)
Prepare and request materials needed in the project
Submit weekly accomplishment report
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Licensed Mechanical Engineer, is a plus.
Background in Fire Systems is a plus.
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
