Mechanical Engineer (Engineering)

Job Description

• Create and optimize designs for mechanical systems used in marine vessels, offshore platforms, and renewable energy installations, including High Voltage AC/DC platforms.
• Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams—electrical engineers, project managers, and operations—to deliver integrated and sustainable solutions.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all designs and systems meet contract specifications, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
• Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including equipment specifications, machinery arrangement drawings, sizing calculations, functional design specifications, site acceptance tests, and marine operating manuals.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of advances in marine and renewable energy technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into projects.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in marine, offshore, or renewable energy sectors.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), Navisworks, and knowledge of marine and renewable energy systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative team player with flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative solutions.

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:15 pm; Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
