Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and Analysis

- Design the new parts and assemblies for new products

- Conduct structural analysis and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for new products.

- Assist in the development of innovative mechanical designs for road sweepers and cleaning equipment.

- Optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.

- Conduct the FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis)

2. New Product Development (NPD)

- Contribute to NPD projects with holistic thinking and creativity.

- Use analytical tools to validate design concepts and improve existing designs.

- Conduct visits to the vendors for the new product development.

3. Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems

- Develop a basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems to enhance design capabilities.

- Support integration of these systems into new product designs (preferred)

4. Prototype testing

- Conduct the prototype testing.

- Make a reports of testing and document neatly.

5. Collaboration and Documentation

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.

- Prepare technical documentation, including CAD models, BOMs, and test reports.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or similar stream.

- Proficiency in SolidWorks, FEA, and structural analysis tools, FMEA, DFMA

- Creativity, imagination, and strong analytical skills.

- Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (preferred).

- Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean tools (optional but advantageous).
