Mechanical Engineer Maintenance Head

Job Responsibilities & Tasks • Organize and manage the mechanical team for proper execution of maintenance jobs and repairs. • Manage the shift personnel in an effective and productive way. • Follow up on spare parts needed to effectively execute the planned and unplanned jobs. Make sure that critical spare parts are in place to improve downtime and mean time to repair (MTTR). • Lead the mechanical team, boiler and vehicles technicians to achieve a level of optimal functioning of all related equipment. Make sure that boilers are running at maximum efficiency and under environmental limitations. • Follow up the maintenance shutdown plan along with the Maintenance Manager to ensure critical mechanical tasks are done in a timely manner. • Develop a training plan for his subordinates and motivate the team to achieve the required level of performance. • Ensure key performance indicators are captured and reported for equipment reliability, departmental performance, and common ...
