Mechanical Engineer

Kalogon, a smart seating startup based in Melbourne, seeks a top notch Mechanical Engineer to help us expand our product lines as we adapt our seating technology for new customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience with design for manufacture with injection molded assembly, ideally with consumer or medical device products.

What You’ll Do Design & Development Designing injection moldable assemblies and supporting the production handoff Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using Onshape Focus on electromechanical assembly design and work with electronics designer and product to figure out efficient integrated solutions for electromechanical systems Develop and maintain design documentation, including specifications, test procedures, assembly instructions, and technical reports to meet criteria for inclusion in required reporting Understand the impact of different material choices on product lifecycle, durability, and how th...
