**Overview**
**Job Title: Mechanical Engineer**
**Job Location: Melville, NY (100% onsite)**
**Salary: $100,000-$130,000/yr DOE**
**Responsibilities**
+ Designs, fabricates, modifies and evaluates mechanical and/or electronic apparatus.
+ Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests.
+ Evaluates and maintains records and writes reports of the results of his work.
+ Generates engineering documentation and test procedures.
+ Liaison with Designers, Technicians and Purchasing Department for evaluation of products/parts, debugging phases and transition from prototype to first artwork.
+ Performs other similar related tasks as assigned.
+ Maintains a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors.
