Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer supports New Product Development and product sustaining tasks for the company’s Global Rack & Edge Thermal products.
**Responsibilities**:
- Understands the products, suggesting ideas and improvements back to group.
- Assists with creation, reviewing, and systems-entry of new product specifications, ECNs, tests, procedures, user manuals, submittal drawings, and sales literature.
- Creates/modifies mechanical drawings/parts in CAD systems, such as CREO.
- Assists with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues.
- Performs lab testing of products.
- Works closely with technicians and junior engineers, providing technical support and guidance
**Education & Certifications**:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
