Job Description: Mechanical Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and redesigning components and systems using SolidWorks, focusing on detailed specifications and codes relevant to the government industry. You will work on designing cranes, material handling equipment, and other devices in a collaborative, structured 3-D environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical drive systems and perform initial sizing calculations for motors, gearboxes, couplings, and other mechanical components.
  • Create detailed designs while adhering to customer specifications and industry codes from various countries.
  • Annotate drawings with AWS D1.1 weld symbols, ANSI machining symbols, and other standardized signs to clearly communicate designs for customers and manufacturing facilities.
