Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing mechanical works to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. The role involves coordination with multidisciplinary teams and hands-on engineering support.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical installation works including HVAC, piping, pumps, firefighting, plumbing, and equipment installation (as applicable).
  

• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
  

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for approvals and execution.
  

• Monitor site progress, manpower, and materials to meet project schedules.
  

• Ensure quality control through inspections and adherence to standards.
  

• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
  

• Prepare technical reports, method statements, and progress documentation.
  

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  

• Professional certification or membership is an advantage.
  

Experience

• Minimum 3–8 years of relevant experience (depending on project).
  

• Experience in construction, MEP, industrial plants, or oil & gas projects preferred.
  

• GCC experience is an advantage.
