We are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer at our Bakery at Millerdale working 48 hours per week, Night shift (6pm - 6am), 4 on 4 off.


The Role:
You will be responsible for Planned Maintenance, reacting to breakdowns, fault finding on a range of filling, packing machinery (mechanically) and size changes to include guidance of the production equipment on site at Millerdale.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide general maintenance for all production related equipment following closely the Company rules on Health and Safety, Quality and Engineering Procedures

  • To ensure all PPM’s are completed on time as part of Engineering Department Targets

  • Ensuring breakdowns are rectified efficiently, while investigating root cause to prevent reoccurrence
