A scaling agriculture robotics start-up is building an AI-driven autonomous sprayer designed for protected agriculture. They're focused on creating robust, serviceable, and manufacturable robots in harsh environments where reliability is key.
They're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to own the mechanical design and integration of the robot, ensuring it performs reliably and can be scaled to low-volume manufacturing.
What You'll Be Doing
Design the robot chassis, mounting systems, and actuation mechanisms
Collaborate with electronics and software teams on full system integration
Design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA) and scale to low-volume production
Support enclosure design to protect against dust, moisture, and chemical exposure
Assist with field testing and iterative mechanical improvements
