Mechanical Engineer

About The Role

We are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team based at our manufacturing facility in Scunthorpe. The candidate will work a combination of mornings and afternoons on a rotating shift pattern.The salary for this position is £38,000 plus Shift Allowance. Main Responsibilities:

To carry out planned and reactive maintenance.

Providing rapid response to breakdown’s when required

Fault finding, trouble shooting and maintaining, repairing conveyor systems, equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time

To follow up any faults picked up on PPM’s.

Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the factory and associated systems.

To assist specialist subcontractor’s requirements both for PPM and reactive works.
