Mechanical Engineer

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a contract opportunity in Canoga Park, CA. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •General understanding of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes (additive manufacturing, casting, welding, brazing, machining, heat treating). •Strong mechanical engineering background with knowledge and understanding of machine design, fluid mechanics and strength of materials. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). •Experience in the design and development of mechanical systems and a working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.100.
