Job Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be a key member of the Engineering team, responsible for design verifications and drawing reviews. The role requires accountability for field deviations and non-conformance reports and aims to support Gen. IV advanced reactor design concepts, such as the Natrium Reactor. This position involves tackling complex technical issues in a dynamic project environment, contributing to the design of the primary sodium mechanical pump in the Natrium Demo reactor.
Responsibilities
+ Demonstrate accountability for cost, schedule, quality, and technical accuracy of assigned tasks.
+ Lead and conduct mechanical design, analyses, evaluations, and verifications for the Natrium Primary Sodium Mechanical Pump.
+ Execute analysis, design, test, or integration required to define the Natrium Primary Sodium Mechanical Pump to meet business standards and program/product requirements.
