Brief Job Description: The Thermal Sustaining Engineer will develop improvements to existing Thermal products and support product sustaining tasks. The Thermal Sustaining Engineer will coordinate solutions to issues and questions raised from Quality, Manufacturing, Applications Engineering, Purchasing and other groups in a timely fashion to maintain product offerings.

• Provides technical support to internal Vertiv functions
• Understands the products, suggesting ideas and improvements back to group
• Collaboration across the disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, as well as production, service, quality and offering teams. Work with these teams for design reviews, meeting cost metrics, and brainstorming around customer pain points.
• Creates/modifies mechanical parts/assemblies/drawings in CAD systems such as Creo and/or Solid Edge
