Your Company: A growing and well-established contractor is seeking an Mechanical Estimator to join their team, based in the Hampshire area.Your Role and Responsibilities While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and submitting competitive tenders and quotations, typically ranging from £100k to £2m+, in line with client requirements
- Calculating accurate job costs, including time, labour and materials for complex and bespoke contracts
- Managing and assisting with the preparation of pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) for larger tenders
- Negotiating effective and commercially sound cost settlements for projects
- Analysing contract documentation and preparing detailed sub-contractor enquiry and pricing packages
