Mechanical Fixture Designer

- Designs and documents fixtures, tooling and equipment using CAD.
- Identifies opportunities for modular/universal solutions to cover the needs of multiple processes.
- Work with machinists both internal and external to improve manufacturability of designs.
- Responsible for managing the ordering, receiving, and assembling of machined parts.
- Follow up the designs release to the system thru the change order process.
- Ensure designs are machined to specification and producing expected results.
- Document designs fully such that they can be easily replicated.
- Devises and implements cost reduction/process improvement programs.
- Assist on document validation results of fixtures, tooling, equipment implemented.
Experiência y requisitos
Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in high volume production mechanical fixture design
- Experience in process automation, verification and validation
