As a Mechanical Commissioning Foreman, you’ll be responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site mechanical commissioning activities for the data center MEP building. You will ensure that mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned safely and efficiently, meeting project specifications, redundancy requirements, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate commissioning, and functional testing of mechanical systems
• Ensure mechanical equipment installations are complete and ready for commissioning
• Coordinate with commissioning engineers, contractors, vendors, QA/QC, and safety teams
• Execute and witness functional tests, performance validation, and integrated system testing
• Identify, track, and close mechanical punch list items during commissioning
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and safety procedures
• Maintain commissioning records, checklists, and handover documentation
• Support final handover of mechanical systems to operations and facilities management teams

Mechanical Systems Scope

• Pumps, piping, and valves (chilled water, hot water, domestic water, and drainage systems)
• Chillers, cooling towers, and HVAC-related mechanical equipment
• Boilers, heat exchangers, and other process/mechanical units (if applicable)
• Firefighting pumps, plumbing, and water-based systems
• Compressed air and gas systems (if applicable)
• Integration with building management systems (BMS) for mechanical equipment monitoring and control

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP commissioning, preferably in a Foreman or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing networks, and associated controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and commissioning documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Relevant trade certification or technical engineering qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of commissioning software, tools, and reporting platforms is a plus.
