Mechanical Maintenance Fitter


Location: Purfleet


Salary: £50, - £55,


Mon-Fri 8 hrs per Day


We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to carry out planned and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and keep our plant operating at peak performance.


What you'll do:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on heavy machinery and material handling systems

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues quickly to minimise downtime

  • Support major shutdowns and overhauls

  • Ensure safety compliance and accurate maintenance records

    • What we're looking for:

  • Strong mechanical skills (hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, drive systems)

  • Ability to read technical drawings and use diagnostic tools

  • Recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical or welding/fabrication disciplines
